DFW-Based Company Fundings
Aperture LLC (Arlington, TX), a full-service provider of forensic expertise and litigation dispute support services, has acquired the NOVUM Consulting Group, a provider of financial consulting services including economic damages analysis, valuations, licensing negotiation advisory, and expert witness services to law firms and corporate clients across the country.
BioSTAT Imaging (Addison, TX), a mobile imaging provider, has been acquired by Principle Health Systems (Houston, TX), a provider of mobile laboratory services to long-term care facilities in Texas.
Corn (Dallas, TX), a new Ethereum layer-2 (L2) network that uses a tokenized version of Bitcoin for gas fees and economic incentives on the network, (tickered BTCN), raised $6.7M in funding led by Polychain and HTX.
Energy Domain (Fort Worth, TX), an online marketplace that aims to revolutionize the oil and gas asset transaction process, raised a $5M Series A from individuals and companies actively engaged in the oil and gas industry.
GetChkd (Dallas, TX), a state-of-the-art blockchain infrastructure platform, was selected by AFWERX for a $1.7M STTR Phase II contract focused on blockchain infrastructure
Guidehealth (Dallas, TX), a technology-driven health services platform that partners with health systems and clinical networks to enhance value-based care, raised a $14M seed round from Memorial Hermann Foundation.
Siepe (Dallas, TX), a provider of software and technology-enabled services for private credit and CLO managers, raised a $30M Series B led by WestCap.
DFW-Based Investor Transactions
Cubit Capital (Dallas, TX) participated in the $20M Series A for H3X (Denver, CO), a manufacturer of high power density electric motors.The round was led by Infinite Capital, with participation from Hanwha Asset Management, Origin Ventures, Industrious Ventures, Venn10 Capital, Lockheed Martin Ventures, Metaplanet, Liquid 2 Ventures, and TechNexus.
D.R. Horton (Arlington, TX) co-led a $4M Seed round for Adept Materials (Somerville, MA), an advanced materials startup. The round was co-led by PulteGroup with participation from Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC), and Point Cove LLC.
Eagle Venture Fund (Southlake, TX) invested in GameSafe.ai (Anthem, AZ), a software company specializing in child protection solutions for online gaming.
Maverick Capital (Dallas, TX) co-led the Series A extension for Thintronics (Berkeley, CA), an electronic materials startup. The round was co-led by Translink Capital with participation from M Ventures (CVC arm of Merck KGaA), TGVP (US CVC arm of TOPPAN Holdings), and Tallwood Venture Capital.
