Howdy folks,

Welcome to the 26th edition of the Dallas Venture Deals newsletter. The pace of activity in August shows why Dallas-Fort Worth is no longer an emerging ecosystem but a proven one. FieldPulse’s $50M Series C signals that founders can start here, scale here, and raise serious growth capital without leaving North Texas. Ospri’s $30M raise in infectious disease testing underscores that our region is attracting capital to companies solving real-world problems in healthcare. Highway’s strategic round shows that Dallas continues to punch above its weight in logistics and supply chain innovation.

At the same time, our investors are leaning into deals that matter nationally. Maverick Capital’s leadership in an $85M round for SiMa.ai places Dallas at the center of one of the most important conversations in technology right now, the rise of physical AI. AT&T Ventures’ role in a $100M round for Carbyne highlights the way local capital is backing solutions that improve public safety and emergency response around the globe.

This combination is powerful. Entrepreneurs are proving they can build category-defining companies here. Investors are proving that Dallas is willing to lead and not just follow. Together, they are pushing North Texas from a regional hub to a national model for how innovation and capital can work hand in hand.

Keep up the hustle… We’re just getting started 🚀🚀🤠
