Howdy folks,
Welcome to the 32nd edition of the Dallas Venture Deals newsletter. February may be the shortest month of the year, but it did not slow much down around DFW. From early-stage AI startups to growth equity and strategic acquisitions, the momentum across North Texas continues to build. We are seeing more founders tackle real operational problems in healthcare, cyber, lending, and manufacturing, and more capital ready to back them.
The biggest headlines this month came from the top of the market. Yendo secured a $200M funding commitment from i80 Group to scale its AI-enabled credit card products. Uptiq raised a $25M Series B to expand its AI agents inside banks and credit unions. On the corporate side, Texas Instruments announced a $7.5B acquisition of Silicon Labs, a major strategic move that underscores the depth of semiconductor and hardware leadership tied to Dallas. AT&T Ventures also participated in Apptronik’s now $935M+ Series A, one of the largest robotics financings in the country. These are meaningful, market-shaping transactions, and they all have strong DFW fingerprints.
We also want to congratulate our friend, Rogers Healy, on the successful acquisition of Rogers Healy and Associates by Compass — another meaningful outcome for a Dallas-based operator this month.
At the earlier stages, the pipeline remains healthy. Companies like Cydelphi and SpendRule closed new seed rounds, while American Drone Network, ILS Gummies, and KLOwen Orthodontics added growth capital. Meanwhile, local investors were active across nuclear energy, advanced batteries, robotics, digital assets, and sustainability. The throughline is clear. Dallas-Fort Worth continues to pair technical innovation with practical execution, building companies that solve real-world problems and attracting capital that is comfortable backing them.
