Venture Deals

DFW-Based Company Fundings

  • Nada (Dallas, TX), an investment tech platform that bridges homeowners and investors through home equity, raised a seed extension round from LiveOak Ventures and 7BC Venture Capital.

  • Nexus Cognitive (Addison, TX), a leading innovator in enterprise Data & AI foundations, raised funding from Insight Partners.

  • On Touch Go (Dallas, TX), a self-service advertising platform for rideshare screens, was acquired by Nickelytics for an undisclosed amount.

  • Osteal Therapeutics (Dallas, TX), a clinical-stage bio pharmaceutical company developing a new category of combination drug/device therapies for orthopedic infections, raised a $50M Series D from Zimmer Biomet with participation from J&J Innovation, Gideon Strategic Partners, and HM Capital.

  • Technology Spa (Dallas, TX), a cloud orchestration and enterprise productivity solutions provider, was acquired by Buchanan Technologies (Grapevine, TX) through its financial sponsor Lightview Capital for an undisclosed amount. 

  • Texas Stock Exchange (Dallas, TX), a new stock exchange, received $120M of development capital from Citadel Securities, BlackRock and other undisclosed investors. 

  • Yumlish (Dallas, TX), a tech-enabled provider of culturally affirming health education programs for Medicaid enrollees, received funding as part of CareQuest Innovation Partners’ SMILE Health Accelerator.

DFW-Based Investor Transactions

  • Cypress Growth Capital (Dallas, TX) announced an investment in Barn Owl (Colorado Springs, CO), a hardware and SaaS company that provides AI-enabled, camera-based remote monitoring solutions to ranchers, municipalities, and the military.

  • Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) sold a minority stake to Advent International and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) at a $12.75B valuation.

  • Gauntlet Ventures (Dallas, TX) participated in the $450M funding round for Cohere (Toronto, Ontario), a leading generative enterprise AI platform. Returning investors include Nvidia and Salesforce Ventures, and new investors include Cisco, PSP Investments, and additional venture firms.

  • Goldcrest Ventures (Dallas, TX) co-led the $11M Series A for Daisy (Costa Mesa, CA), a home and small business technology installation and services company.raised $11M in Series A funding. The round was co-led by Bungalow with participation from Bullish, Burst Capital, and angel investors.

  • Steelhead Capital (Fort Worth, TX) invested in the $25M Series A for Molten Industries, a company that converts natural gas into clean graphite and hydrogen. The round was led by Breakthrough Energy Ventures (BEV), with participation from Sozo Ventures, Mark Heising, Union Square Ventures, 50 Years, J4 Ventures, Moai Capital, UVC Partners, Jane Woodward, and Peter Attia.

  • Eagle Venture Fund (Southlake, TX) invested in the $2M Seed round for Vurvey (Cincinnati, OH), a provider of an AI platform empowered by people for brands. The round was led by Tindall Capital.
