March wrapped up a steady first quarter for the DFW venture ecosystem — deal flow remained active across a range of sectors, from crypto infrastructure and specialty healthcare to space and gaming. Paradigm and a16z crypto backed Dallas-based Zcash Open Development Lab, Balerion Space Ventures anchored a $500M round for Vast, and Satori Neuro led a $60M pharma Series A for Gilgamesh Pharma. The foundations being laid here are strong, and the best of 2026 is still ahead. Let's get into it.

DFW-Based Company Fundings
Autire (Addison, TX), a cloud-based and AI-powered software platform built to support CPA firms performing employee benefit plan audits, received an undisclosed investment from Serent Capital.
Cembra Holding Company (Dallas, TX), a permanent capital holding company that acquires and operates businesses for the long term, raised $22M.M from undisclosed investors.
Lantern (Dallas, TX), a specialty care navigation platform that steers patients to high-quality providers while reducing healthcare costs, raised $30M in a Strategic round led by Echo Health Ventures and Morgan Health.
PIG Air (Southlake, TX), a manufacturer of compressed air systems and industrial equipment, raised $1.67M from undisclosed investors.
Psychedelic Games (Dallas, TX), a game studio developing Golden Tides, a pirate-themed 4v4 adventure MOBA for PC, raised $3.5M from KRAFTON, FlyQuest, and Arbitrum Gaming Ventures.
Healy Property Management (Dallas, TX) was acquired by Century 21 Judge Fite Property Mgmt
SyncData.ai (McKinney, TX), a platform helping organizations manage operational risk and improve efficiency using AI-driven data synchronization, received an undisclosed investment from the McKinney Economic Development Corporation.
Zcash Open Development Lab (ZODL) (Dallas, TX), a privacy-focused cryptocurrency development lab building the Zcash protocol and self-custodial mobile wallet Zodl, raised $25M+ in a Seed round led by Paradigm and a16z crypto, with participation from Winklevoss Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Cypherpunk Technologies, Chapter One, and Balaji Srinivasan.

AT&T (Dallas, TX) participated in the $45M Series A for ORAN Development Company, LLC ("ODC") (New York, NY), a pioneer in AI-Native Radio Access Networks (AI-RAN) and the architect of the U.S.-based Odyssey RAN software platform. The round was led by a premier syndicate of global technology and infrastructure powerhouses, including Booz Allen, Cisco Investments, Nokia, and NVIDIA, alongside Tier-1 telecoms AT&T, MTN, and Telecom Italia. This strategic round joins these industry leaders with Phoenix Venture Partners and a prior seed investment made by Cerberus.
Balerion Space Ventures (Dallas, TX) led the $500M funding round for Vast (Long Beach, CA), the company developing next-generation space stations. The round included participation from IQT, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Mitsui & Co., Ltd, MUFG, Nikon Corporation (Nikon), Stellar Ventures, Space Capital, and Earthrise Ventures.
Cubit Capital (Dallas, TX) co-led the $20M Series B for Lucid Bots (Charlotte, NC), the leading platform for autonomous exterior cleaning in the United States. The round was co-led by Idea Fund Partners, with participation from Taylor Rhodes, WaterStone Impact Fund, and Front Porch Ventures.
Cubit Capital (Dallas, TX) participated in the $10M Seed round for Lux Aeterna (Denver, CO), a next-generation space infrastructure company transforming the economics of the orbital supply chain through reentry and redeployment. The round was led by Konvoy with additional participation from Decisive Point, Wave Function, Space Capital, Dynamo Ventures, and Channel 39.
Fifth Growth Fund (Dallas, TX) participated in the $375M Series B for Cloaked (New York, NY), the consumer-first privacy and security company. The round was led by General Catalyst and Liberty City Ventures, with participation from Lux Capital, Human Capital, Marquee Ventures, NFL Players Association, LG Technology Ventures, Assurant Ventures, DuckDuckGo, and others
Goldcrest Capital (Dallas, TX) participated in the $65M Series C for Sage (New York, NY), the first integrated Care Platform built for senior living and skilled nursing. The round was led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives with additional participation IVP.
Satori Neuro (Dallas, TX) led the $60M Series A for Gilgamesh Pharma (New York, NY), a clinical-stage neuroscience company developing breakthrough therapies for psychiatric and neurological disorders. The round included participation from Prime Movers Lab and others.
Silent Ventures (Dallas, TX) co-led the $35M Series A for Swarm Aero (Oxnard, CA), a developer of large uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) swarms. The round was co-led by Two Sigma Ventures, with participation from Khosla Ventures, Scribble Ventures, Friends & Family Capital, Construct Capital, Coatue, Founders Fund, Alumni Ventures, and MaC Venture Capital.
U.S. Renal Care (Dallas, TX) participated in the $77.5M Series A for R1 Therapeutics, Inc (“R1”) (Redwood City, CA), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of first-in-class therapies for patients with kidney disease. The financing was co-led by Abingworth, F-Prime, and DaVita Venture Group, part of DaVita Inc. (NYSE: DVA), with participation from Curie.Bio, and SymBiosis.
