DFW-Based Company Fundings
Arhasi (Frisco, TX), an AI solution engineering firm, received a strategic investment from Alpha Transform Holdings (ATH), which also invested in Florida-based Cloudbench. Arhasi and Cloudbench have created a joint AI and data foundry in Frisco.
Mavenir (Richardson, TX), a cloud-native network infrastructure provider for the telecommunications services market, announced it was raising up to $75M Investment From ‘Existing Investor’.
OptMyCare (Dallas, TX), a clinically engineered AI platform in healthcare and risk management, raised a $3M Series A round led by Austin-based LiveOak Ventures.
Outpave (Frisco, TX), a pioneering advanced expense management solutions for the construction and residential services sector, raised a $1.2M Seed round led by Mesquite-based Fritz-Pak Corporation.
Solutions by Text (SBT) (Addison, TX), a leading platform for compliance-first messaging and payments, raised $110M in new growth financing, co-led by Edison Partners and StepStone Group, with Stifel Venture Bank providing a lending facility.
Subeca (San Diego, CA & Dallas, TX), a provider of next-generation water metering systems, raised a $6M million Series A led by SUEZ, with participation from Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund and Burnt Ventures.
Yendo (Dallas, TX), the company that created the first-ever vehicle-secured credit card, raised $150M in debt from i80 Group and $15M in equity funding from undisclosed strategic investors.
DFW-Based Investor Transactions
Crow Holdings (Dallas, TX) participated in the $6.5M Seed round in Orange Charger (San Francisco, CA), a reliable, affordable, and zero-maintenance EV charging solution purpose-built for multifamily properties. The round was led by Munich Re Ventures and Climactic with participation by Baukunst, Lincoln Property Ventures, Space Cadet Ventures and others.
Cubit Capital (Dallas, TX) led a $9.1M Series A round for Lucid Bots (Charlotte, NC), a company specializing in robotics for labor-intensive tasks. Additional participants include Idea Fund Partners, Danu Venture Group, Y Combinator’s Growth Fund, and Gratus Capital.
Cypress Growth Capital (Dallas, TX) announced the closing of its fifth royalty-based growth capital fund. The $60M investment vehicle was oversubscribed and raised in 43 days.
Cypress Growth Capital (Dallas, TX) invested $3.5M in non-dilutive capital in PEC360 (Charleston, SC), a provider of healthcare-specific patient engagement software and related services.
Dallas Venture Capital (Irving, TX) participated in the $100M Series C for Alkira (San Jose, CA), a leader in on-demand network infrastructure as-a-service. The round was led by Tiger Global Management with participation from Geodesic Capital, LIAN Group, NextEquity Partners, Kleiner Perkins, Koch Disruptive Technologies and Sequoia Capital.
Fritz-Pak Corporation (Mesquite, TX) led a $1.2M Seed round for Outpave (Frisco, TX), a pioneering advanced expense management solutions for the construction and residential services sector.
Goldcrest Capital (Dallas, TX) participated in the $30M Series B for Peregrine (San Francisco, CA), a data integration platform that allows state and local government agencies to protect and serve their communities. The round led by Friends & Family Capital and Fifth Down Capital with participation from Craft Ventures, Godfrey Capital, and other committed partners.
Hunt Energy Network (Dallas, TX) invested $10M in Quidnet Energy (Houston, TX), a pioneer in long-duration energy storage solutions.
Morrison Seger (Dallas, TX) participated in the $2.5M funding round for Freaks of Nature, a leading-edge clean, high performing skincare products for the outdoor athlete inspired by Mother Nature. Additional investors include Mike Meldman, Co-Founder of Casamigos tequila and Founder of Discovery Land, and actor and filmmaker Jonah Hill.
Perot Jain (Dallas, TX) participated in the seed round for Noteefy (Los Angeles, CA), golf’s premier fully automated waitlist solution. The round was led by Phoenix Capital Ventures with participation from TRT Holdings (owner of Omni Hotels & Resorts), the Keiser family (owner of Bandon Dunes Resort & Sand Valley Resort), the Bitove family (founder of the Toronto Raptors), and others.
Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) participated in the $20M funding round for LanzaJet (Chicago, IL), a leading sustainable fuels technology company and sustainable fuels producer. The round was led by Groupe ADP, the world leader in airport design and operations, with additional participation from Microsoft’s Climate Innovation Fund.
Stephens Group (Little Rock, AR & Dallas / Houston, TX) - invested in VisionSafe (Kaneohe, HI), a provider of highly engineered aircraft cockpit smoke displacement systems for use on business, cargo, passenger, government, and other aircraft.
