Howdy folks,

Welcome to the 28th edition of the Dallas Venture Deals newsletter. There’s a different kind of energy in North Texas right now. You could see it, hear it, and feel it at Venture Dallas. The event was completely sold out, packed with founders, investors, and partners who all came away saying the same thing: the future is being built right here.

After ten months, DFW has topped $2.2B in venture funding, more than double last year’s total. The numbers tell a story of momentum, but what’s behind it is even more exciting. This region has grit, collaboration, and belief. When you put those things together, big things happen.

October’s deals prove it. Whether it’s AI changing the way we work, fintech redefining how we spend, or clean energy shaping the world around us, North Texas founders are leading the charge. The ecosystem is deepening, investors are showing up, and the next generation of builders is taking the reins.

The spark that started years ago has turned into a full-on blaze. Big energy, bigger vision, and a community that refuses to slow down. That’s what makes this place special, and that’s why Dallas-Fort Worth isn’t just part of the story, it’s leading it.
